A printed circuit board (PCB) is a dielectric plate, on the surface (volume) of which electrically conductive circuits (conductors) are formed from copper foil. Additional elements are used to install components and connect them to conductors: contact pads, metalized holes and mounting holes, connection blades, shielding and conductive surfaces, etc. A solder-stop and marking print are also applied in the manufacture of printed circuit boards.
The PCB combines the functions of the carrier of radio elements and the electrical connection of such elements.
Printed circuit boards are used in all modern electronic devices without exception: computer and multimedia peripherals, household appliances and electronic devices, analog and digital electronics.
